Tree of Life

Tree of Life

Planted into the dirt and soil of the ground

By a love of the planters hands is brought the mound

Watered from up above

Showers of rain in love

From a small seed to roots they crawl

You grow out and around springing up so tall

Above the ground light shines upon

From the day and night to breaking dawn

Growth begins and seasons begin strengthening life

Through beautiful days and storms of strife

You remain still to grow

Deepening your roots far as your branches swing and flow

From a seed, to roots, to limbs, to sprouts, and leaves

The planters brings all your needs

Storms beat upon, droughts come and go, the tree remains

Never it’s beauty it refrains

A tree of life full of green, branches reaching out, shading and protecting

Some around you' you see, never did they make it

You have come so far, yet you remain still beautiful

Give Up, Pick Up

Initially, giving up our life for the sake of the gospel is not always easy. First, we are committed to our families, jobs, and friends. We also submit ourselves to the needs of our flesh in what it wants. Furthermore, we pour out ourselves to a life of gain and contentment. Likewise, we work to see our goals accomplished by striving for a better life for those we love and for ourselves. To give up our life, truly for Jesus Christ, and to place it in his hands is for us to say, “My hope’s ‘my dreams’ and my way now is no longer no more, I will follow you My Lord and my life is yours.” “Do with me what is your will and purpose all for your glory”. We need him to come into our hearts purifying it and renewing a right spirit within us. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10) Changing us as is his will and purpose, to fulfill his plan for our lives. We must be a servant abiding by his word’ leaning not to our own understandings and serving a God of love to the uttermost. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5, 6) Forsake not his word; for this cause choose not your way and your understanding, but allow him to work within you. We are the clay and he is the Potter, molding us in the image he would have us be.  He will create his divine will and purpose for our life for the great ministry of the Lord so souls may come to know Him. The time is short and at hand. Only in him, and him in us, by his spirit moving through us can we be used to submit obediently to his will.

We must first lay down our life; completely surrendering all, willing to submit to him, and obeying all his laws he gives unto us in his word. God has taught us to be separate from the world. We may be in this world, but we are not to be conformed to it. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2) Our number one priority should be Jesus Christ our Lord.  We should seek his kingdom of heaven up above and his righteousness. With that in mind being our reward, all things will be added unto us. For example, our family’s will he take care and give us perfect peace even when difficulties come their way. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33) Our career will he direct in the manner of his will and providence. Our friends will respect with love the life we choose in Christ. We must strive to walk daily after his spirit so we may not fulfill the lust of the flesh. That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:4)  The flesh is contrary to the spirit. The two do not get along, so we must be filled with God’s Holy Spirit guiding and directing us His way. However, to be completely surrendered to Jesus Christ is to not to be holding on to things of this world. But instead, allowing Jesus through his word to clean up all sin we have in our hearts, and thinking as with the mind of Christ and with a spirit of love, power, and a sound mind. For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

Given from God is Love

Singing songs of delight
I am thankful I have spiritual sight

Even when there are difficult times
Jesus will be in all my rhymes
I think of his word

A word I allowed to be heard

No matter the circumstances,
My attention to his word is where I go
I know I will overcome because He paid the debts
No question’s unanswered, no past regrets
Just knowing Him, all emptiness is full

Because of a man called Jesus
My life is not my own to live, but now is his control

Out of the hands of Satan’s
Into the hand’s of the Father
My carpenter; my eternal God

Faith

I will pray continually and seek you everyday

I will fight the good fight of faith in every way

These pains I feel will heal in time

Or today I will see a miracle!

This is my faith oh lord, hear me and be merciful

Break the bars that keep us from your work

Heal brokenness of passed mistakes

Throw into the sea of forgetfulness

And do a new work in me

I will believe your word and have faith for deliverance

As my eyes search for a place to call home

I seek my God as everyday I roam

“This is my home where I can daily grow

Planting a harvest of hope I will now sow”

Work will come in time I see

This door closes; I have not the key

Not enough that I can give

That will continually help me live

With faith I’ll stand, surely Jesus will not be late

Calling out each and everyday
Having so many words to say
You hear my cries dear Lord
You know what it takes that I cant afford
You move me here and there
I know you always care
Sometimes I cry when I’m uncomfortable
But it is only for me to learn and it is reasonable
I wonder how many times I fall
Before I really learn at all
All the things that you must teach me
All the things that help me see
So many times I get impatient
Wanting to see blessings that I cant
The anxiety that comes when I can’t wait
I feel as if it’s always to late
What do I do today dear Lord
To get me through when I am bored
I write and read a little bit
Some times I just baby-sit
So many things that need my attention
So many things that I want mention
Frustration comes when I want hearken unto it
It’s always still there for me throwing a fit
Oh the hunger I do have to just have the key
And the person I know that I can be
I feel as if my body is overweight
It’s not anyone’s fault so why my complaint
I get so ungrateful
I don’t mean to be that fool
If I exercise my ambitions
I’m sure to get that self-satisfaction
Oh my weakness
Takes over me I confess
I need to repent and start a new
Waking up with fresh morning dew
Oh Lord How I need you today
I cannot make it without you in anyway
My feelings overcome me
And it closes my spiritual eyes so I cannot see
Peace rest upon me
And set me free
No more worries on my mind
Only good things about me should I find

God is Always Faithful

God is always there for me
He answers me from anywhere I may be
He directs the path I take
He shows me how to stay awake
Never has he ever left me
Never has he let me be
He stays right beside me
Bad and good, he is my key
When I am not so faithful
He reaches down and with a pull
He gets my attention
Telling me he is not done
He molds and makes me
Everyday a higher place he wants me to see
God is always faithful
For I am his dearest tool

Hearing Angels
 

Going through the hardships of Life
Overcoming temptations and strife

Not seeking and praying as strong as I should be
Getting caught up with my self and what I want to see

During this time of needing to let go
I awake from my sleep only to hear voices blow

“What’s that I hear?
Falling soundly upon my ear
A song coming from the corner of the room;
above the baby’s bed I assume”

Beautiful angel voices singing to me
who am I to experience’ such a great thing to be?

I hear God’s voice saying, from deep within my heart
You know I’ve put my angels around about you, protecting you always, even during time’s you feel we are apart

Only I know really why I’m hearing my angel voices; you see
Reminding me that; His promises are still there even when I may not be

I open my window

As I carry on and my curtains sway

I feel God’s presence blow

I hear loudly the noise from outside

A near by highway

Where people quickly pass by

As I go about my simple everyday

Children laughing

As the aroma of what I’m cooking is in the air

My heart is singing

As all my actions flow out my windows to share

As I walk down my halls

Each room with a different feeling

Noises echoing off all my walls

To my room where I will be kneeling

Opening those spiritual windows

I began to talk to him and pray

Motherhood & Children

“Just Cry”

 How much more is there to carry? How long can my heart be merry?

Overwhelmed by a mothers calling

I find my self just falling

Into a place where others fear

A place where we cry that first tear

Motherhood is not a easy road

Sometimes you feel it's too much of a load

In a world today you can do it all

You can get a job and stand proud and tall

I cover my face as the tears fall, I am God’s child to him I will call

Oh Lord, you said you won't put more on me than I can bear

My children are a blessing from you, but now the devil sends his fear

God said,” Pick up your word

I gave you the weapon to fight

Don’t falter and lose your sight

You can overcome through me 

Just allow me to help you daily

I love you, my child; I am here

My words will comfort you have no fear

As you went about everyday

You haven’t stop to even pray

For some strength for me to give

A better way for you to live

I brought you here my daughter

I have your attention; don’t falter"

God’s presence rested upon me

His light shined so brightly

By his promises in his book

My Mother carried me all the way, Through times of growth every day

I lean on her when I am tired

She nourished me as a flower is admired

Her expectation of me was good health and joy

But what she did give me was her time and Love

And then there was Faith, I tried for a boy

Against Abortion

A dream I had, I know is graphic, but I'm just writing what I dreamed.

“Abortion Nightmare”

In this dream I’m on a roller coaster

Not just any kind of roller coaster, but one that is haunted

Fearfully and innocently I get into the cart

Up and down and side to side

I find myself slowly beginning to stop

As my attention looks to the right of me

Where a room with stone walls all around

I see these unknown people slowly letting down a sack from the top of the ceiling

With an innocent human figure in it

As the figures eyes innocently looks around without a thought

Suddenly Huge enormous black spiders attack

In what was just a second ago Life

was now devoured by blood sucking spiders

As I immediately awoke out of this dream

I new exactly what abortion is

Behold my affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins.
