Since He Save Me

              Since He Saved Me

Here I was saved and forgiven of all my sins. I felt brand new! I can’t explain the joy that was introduced to me that day. I was like a little child. How precious the peace is when you know that you know you’re on your way home.
Momma, Daddy, Sister, brother, I’ve been changed, said my heart over and over again. Oh thank you Jesus, with praises and dances and hymns and songs I lifted up my heart to the Lord on those salvation days that went by.  Seeking and hungering for more, I felt like I was going to explode. Before I thought I knew so much, but I was beginning to realize what little I knew. It sounded like words that had been hidden from me so very long. But I am so happy to say that God's grace promised me this happy day.
I finally got to see my enemy for the first time. It wasn’t a person, it wasn’t me,’ it was sin! “ Sin from the devil itself. Well I’m not perfect. I do commit sins but how I know what to strive far from.
Knowledge and wisdom she came so sweet to me. Understanding, so much understanding! I felt soon like a soldier dressed for battle. With God's word in my right hand and his commandments in my heart I pressed on discerning God's perfect will for man. Soon my enemy was ready to fight. Knocked around, pushed down, and trampled over. I was getting tired. Oh Lord I would cry! I can’t go any more! Please send down your holy spirit. Lead me, guide me, and teach me your way. I learned you cant live by bread alone and this battle was not mine but the Lord's. The Lord has done won this fight. How I seek you Lord and thank you heavenly father for your HOLY GOHST. Now I can run this race,’ A race against the devil. Through Christ I can do all things. I now have power over the enemy and his wicked ways. I am more than a conqueror; I am a child of God.
